EVENTS FOR THE PUBLIC

Expo Vente - every May   

Each spring the Dorval Potters' Guild and the Dorval Weaver's Guild join forces to put on a Pottery and Weaving Exhibition/Sale at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Center (adjoining the Dorval Public Library, 1401 Lakeshore Rd.). This sale usually takes place in May and is open for 3 days.

Dorval Days - every August

A summer extravaganza of fun and sharing on the lawns of the Dorval Community Centre. Craft sales and demonstrations, art, food, dance and other interesting booths and displays.

Annual Holiday Sale - every December

Around the start of December the Guild holds a Holiday sale.  This sale usually takes place in the Sarto Desnoyers Center.  A raffle is held, with proceeds going to a local charity, such as Dorval Community Aid.

Annual General Meeting - Autumn

All members are expected to attend this very important meeting. The past year is discussed and the executive is elected.

Empty Bowls - Spring

Every year, members of the guild participate in the Empty Bowls event, making and donating dozens of bowls for a fundraiser for the area food bank.
